Building Blocks for a Lifetime of Functional Movement...
18 Rec-PAC sites will also include the innovative program FUNction, which uses fun games and activities to teach children basic movement skills and nutritional concepts. This program is part of the efforts being made by Fairfax County Park Authority to combat inactivity and poor nutrition in our youth in a way that is positive and fun. FUNction was created by Dr. Kwame M. Brown with the help of the FCPA Fitness and Wellness team.
