16 Birds   We've come up with a list of birds that we're very interested in. These birds are indicator species - or the presence of each bird can tell us something about what is going on in the environment. Help us keep track of each of the 16 Birds on our list by completing our online form below. To learn more about birds and their habitats, try some of the Wildlife websites found in Green Links. Please submit a separate report for each bird sighted. Park Authority paid and volunteer staff monitored six park sites in 2005 for the 16 bird species: Riverbend Park, Scott’s Run Nature Preserve, Courthouse Spring Branch, Ellanor C. Lawrence Park, Eakin Park and Huntley Meadows Park.
