The Potomac River at Riverbend Park offers anglers of all ages many fishing opportunities. Rocks and current provide excellent habitat for hard fighting smallmouth bass. Sunfish are also abundant and provide budding anglers with lots of fun. Both smallmouth bass and sunfish are great for spinning and fly anglers. The river also hosts channel catfish which grow big in these waters.
