Kayak Rentals at Riverbend Park
(Adults, or 14 yrs. and up with adult), kayak rentals available for those who have either participated in a Riverbend kayak tour, have a current American Canoe Association certification, or have taken an exam with the ACA trained staff at the park. Walk up rentals available Thursday through Monday (Tuesday and Wednesday by reservation) from 7am until two hours prior to closing of the park (hours vary seasonally). Rental season: May17 through October 8

• 1/2 Day Rental (up to 3 hours) = $15
• All Day Rental (3-6 hours) = $25

Boaters are advised to go upriver from the boat launch area to avoid the Aqueduct Dam which is located one mile down river. No boating is allowed past buoys down river. All rentals closed in hazardous conditions.

Small Group Kayak Tours
(14 yrs. and up). Interested in exploring the Potomac with your family or friends? Is your office looking for a day out? Riverbend Park offers kayak tours on request. Paddle amongst the river islands, relax and enjoy the river wildlife around you. No previous experience required. We'll get you started with the basics. This is not a whitewater tour. Kayaks provided, one person/kayak. Reservations and advanced payment required. Weekday availability only. Program length: 2.5 hours. Canceled if inclement weather or hazardous river conditions. One to six people $270, $45 for each additional person, maximum 11.

NEW! Jon boat Rentals at Riverbend Park
Riverbend Visitor Center, 703-759-9018. Jon boats are available for families, anglers, and anyone looking to enjoy some time on the river. Boats available Thursday through Monday from 7am until two hours prior to closing of the park (hours vary seasonally). Rental season: May 17 through October 8
