The large picnic area near the visitor center is the perfect spot for your family picnic. As you relax enjoy the beautiful views of the river as it flows past. Grills are provided. No open fires permitted. In the summer months the tall trees provide welcome shade.

Picnic Shelter
For large group picnics and get togethers Riverbend has a reservable picnic shelter. Located in a shady out of the way place the shelter is perfect for big family get togethers. The shelter seats up to seventy people and has picnic tables and a large grill. Click here for rental details.
