Riverbend Park's Zen bridge

Our quaint bridge over the small zen pond is a great staging area for your bridging ceremony. With an expansive picnic area along the Potomac River, there is lots of space for your troop, parents, and more! Using the bridge is free and does not require reservations. Park Hours: 7am-dusk, daily

If the scheduled programs are not convenient you may arrange weekday badge programs for groups of 12 or more. Limited availability.  Call Riverbend at 703-759-9018. Scout Camping for Cub Scouts
Friday, May 16 - Saturday, May 17
(7-11 yrs.), 6pm Friday to 9am Saturday, Riverbend Visitor Center, 703-759-9018.
Scouts set up their tents and camp under the stars. Pack a dinner to cook over the campfire and enjoy a night hike and s’mores. Scouts must bring their own tents and sleeping bags, and toasting sticks. Adult chaperones must accompany scouts at all times. A light breakfast is provided. Reservations and advanced payment required by 5/7. $12/person, Riverbend patch available for $3.50/scout

Scout Camping for Brownies and Juniors

Brownie Nature Badge Camp

This camp, specially designed for girl scouts, includes hikes, games and crafts while having fun in nature. Brownies will earn these Try-its: Animals, Eco Explorer, Plants and Water Everywhere. $155
