Volunteer at Clemyjontri Park...
Greetings from Clemyjontri Park! Come volunteer at
one of the happiest places on Earth (until the kids
realize they have to go home). Volunteer opportunities
are diverse and include operating the carousel,
maintaining landscaping, keeping the facility sparkling
clean, and leading children's programs. In
addition to making new friends and learning new skills
you’ll also be giving back to the community.

HIGHLIGHTS...
Clemyjontri Park boasts a new greener look, thanks to
volunteers. The Kiwanis Club of Tyson’s Corner laid down
500 square yards of sod this spring. It was a classic
example of many hands making light work. With 50 Kiwanis
members putting down the green, it took only a half day
to finish the project.

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT...
The Kiwanis Club of Tysons Corner is a young
professional community service organization in Northern
Virginia. The members consist of young adults primarily
in their 20s and 30s who aim to make their communities a
better place, with an emphasis on working with youth,
while having fun. They have been helping Clemyjontri Park
over the past several years with at least two major
projects a year. These projects have included installing
post and rail fencing as well as laying sod. Their
volunteer efforts have contributed to Clemyjontri
significantly.
