Title: Front Desk Associate
Goal: To meet the site's goal of excellence in customer service and foster an appreciation of recreational opportunities in the local community.
Duties: Greets the public and orients them to the facility, informs visitors about site rules and programs, checks user passes, answers phone calls and inquiries, assists with programs and projects as needed, helps to take care of the front desk equipment and working area, and may handle sales of RECenter passes and/or other site specific items.
Qualifications: Must be 16 years or age or older. Volunteer must be an enthusiastic individual willing to interact with the public in a positive manner. Must be organized and have skills to deal with various tasks.
Training: Must complete FCPA Safety Training, Sexual Harassment Training and STARS customer service training within two weeks of start date. Must attend site orientation and on-the job training as required.
Certifications/Tests: Background check required for volunteers handling cash transactions.
Time Required: Average of four hours per week. Prefer six-month commitment.
