Sully Historic SiteSully Historic Site, including the dwelling house, outbuildings and grounds, is an oasis of serenity in western Fairfax County, near Washington Dulles Airport. Rich in history, Sully was built in 1794 by Richard Bland Lee who represented Northern Virginia in the first federal congress of the United States. He and his family were the first of many who made Sully a home well into the 20th century. The house and outbuildings are restored and furnished to their earliest appearance. Interpretation of the site details the work and life style of a gentleman farmer during the first decade of the 19th century, as well as the work of slaves, indentured servants, and tenant farmers.

Sully Historic Site is located on Route 28 in Chantilly, VA. From the Beltway (495) take either I66 west to Rt. 28 North or the Dulles Toll Rd. to exit 9A (Rt. 28 South).
