D.C. in just minutes, giving you the best of both worlds.

The campgrounds are open Mid April to late October.
The park's centerpiece is a 218-acre lake with a phenonmenal largemouth bass population that makes it one of Virginia's most popular fishing holes. Bait and tackle sales, row boat rentals and a boat launch are also available.
LAKE FAIRFAX PARK

The star attraction at Lake Fairfax Park is the Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole, a western theme activity pool with an acre of interactive play features, including Rattlesnake River, Box Canyon Crossing, slides and flumes - all designed with kids in mind. In addition, the park has an 18-acre lake that is seasonally-stocked with trout for fishing. The boathouse - providing canoe and pedal boat rentals as well as tour boat rides - is open Memorial Day through Labor Day.".
