(MCLEAN, Va.) — Fairfax County has a good reason to smile.

At a Jan. 23 Executive Series Luncheon hosted by the McLean McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant, Phil Rigueur, with Aetna, presented to the Medical Care for Children Partnership (MCCP) a check for $25,000 to provide dental care for eligible uninsured Fairfax County children.

"Aetna is committed to promoting healthy communities, especially where children are concerned," Rigueur said. "No child should go without health insurance, and Aetna is very pleased to support the Medical Care for Children Partnership."

Each quarter, McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurants donates healthy meals and space at one of its area locations to bring together area senior executives in support of MCCP. Through its support of the community, McCormick & Schmick's provides a forum to generate resources to sustain public-private partnerships, such as MCCP.

About MCCP
MCCP provides free and reduced-cost medical and dental care to uninsured children in Fairfax County who are not eligible for Medicaid or Virginia's Family Access to Medical Insurance Security Plan. MCCP's ultimate goal is to ensure that uninsured children in Fairfax County have medical homes. To achieve its goals, MCCP and the Fairfax County Office of Partnerships develop unique partnerships between the government and businesses, foundations, healthcare providers, and ecumenical and community-based organizations.
