speeding” signs as part of the Residential Traffic Administration
Authorized a public hearing on an interim agreement for the
redevelopment of the Lewinsville Senior Center and Day Care
Authorized a July 1 public hearing on acquiring land rights for
improvements at Rte. 123/Kelley Dr.
Authorized a Memorandum of Agreement between WMATA and Fairfax County
regarding providing emergency bus support during a Metrorail
Authorized signing Department of Rail and Public Transportation Project
Held public hearings on and passed the following:
Converting the Vulcan Quarry to a future water supply storage
Rezoning for the former Lorton Prison site, now
known as Laurel Hill.
Made presentations to
community groups and individuals.
The Board recognized:
2014 Lord and Lady Fairfax honorees (PDF)
Oakton High School Athletes
Chantilly High School Boys Cross Country Team
- West Springfield High School Girls Track Team
The Board designated:
June as LGBT Pride Month.
June as Fight the Bite Awareness
- June 15-21 as Fire & EMS Safety, Health and Survival Week.
