The Fairfax County Animal Shelter will celebrate “Three Days of Pets, Love and Adoption” at its first annual PETSTOCK ’08, a special adoption event being held at its Fairfax facility, located at 4500 West Ox Road. Prospective adopters are encouraged to visit the shelter during the event to visit with available animals who are seeking wonderful new homes. The three-day festival will feature special Sunday adoption hours and is scheduled for:

  • Friday, August 15 -12 – 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 16 - 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, August 17 - 12 – 4 p.m.

Join the shelter for music and merriment and meet some of Fairfax’s grooviest animals available for adoption. The shelter offers a wide variety of animals available for adoption, including dogs, cats, ferrets, chinchillas, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds and iguanas.
