Don’t lose your pet! Most people think it’ll never happen to them, but more than 6 million family pets are lost and enter animal shelters across the U.S. each year
Tragically, most of these pets are never reunited with their owners. Don’t let this happen to you or your pet:
- Arm your pet with a personal ID tag, a rabies tag (required by law for all pets), and a license tag (required by law for all dogs over 4 months old)
- Consider a microchip, tattoo or other device that will help shelters identify and return lost pets
Tagging dogs and cats is a simple, easy, and important task. Even responsible pet owners may experience unexpected circumstances that cause pets to accidentally stray, get lost or injured.
