ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a sobriety checkpoint Saturday night, October 12, in the Fair Oaks Police District.

 

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

 LARCENIES:

4100 block of Auto Park Circle, electronic device from vehicle

14900 block of Rydell Road, baby swing from residence

14500 block of Saint Germain Drive, tools from vehicle

14700 block of Wycombe Street, spray machine from vehicle

 

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 8200 block of Richmond Highway, 10/10/13, 6:50 p.m. A 49-year-old man ordered two individuals to leave the business property. They refused and the man attempted to call 9-1-1. The suspects struck the man and stole his phone. The victim was not injured. The suspects were described as Hispanic men in their 20s. One was wearing a dark jacket and blue shorts. The other was wearing a blue T-shirt and cut-off shorts.

 

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, merchandise from business

1500 block of Cornerside Boulevard, cell phone from business

2100 block of Powhatan Street, DVD player from business

 

MASON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

4600 block of Deming Avenue, items from vehicle

6300 block of Lakeview Drive, cell phone from business

3200 block of Woodburn Road, wallet from business

 

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 1800 block of Ivy Oak Square, 10/10/13, 9 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and took property. Forced entry was made through a window.

 

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

6300 block of Augusta Drive, wallet from vehicle

 

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 5700 block of Burke Centre Parkway, 10/10/13, 3 a.m. A delivery man reported someone entered the business. An employee confirmed several items were stolen. Forced entry was made through a door.

BURGLARY, 7300 block of Little River Turnpike, 10/10/13, 5 a.m. Officers responded for an alarm and found a window smashed out. An employee confirmed several items were taken.

 

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

2900 block of Chain Bridge Road, cosmetics and meat from business
