CHECKPOINT, Route 50 at Stringfellow Road, 10/25/13. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint searching for drunk drivers. 1482 vehicles passed through. One driver was charged with DWI. Four summonses were issued.

ASSAULT ON POLICE, 4100 block of Nellie Custis Court, 10/26/13, 11:53 p.m. Police officers responded for a noise complaint due to party activity. While gaining voluntary compliance on the noise complaint another resident attempted to interfere and assaulted one of the officers. Kathryn Stallings, 42, was charged with assault on a law enforcement officer.

ROBBERY, 3513 South Jefferson Street, 10/27/13, 20:08 p.m. A man attempted to leave the store after concealing merchandise. The suspect was stopped by an employee. The suspect assaulted the employee and then fled. The employee received a non-life-threatening injury. The suspect was described as black, 20s, about 6 feet 4 inches tall with a thin build.

BURGLARY, 4000 block of Kloman Street, 10/25/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 7000 block of Wayne Drive, 10/25/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

ASSAULT ON POLICE, 7400 block of Little River Turnpike, 10/26/13, 6:08 p.m. A police officer discovered a man drunk in public. During the arrest, the suspect assaulted the officer and resisted arrest. Mauricio Turcio Bonilla, 49, was charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and drunk in public.

ROBBERY, 13000 block of Coppermine Road, 10/28/13, 2:53 a.m. A man was entering an apartment building when a man approached him. The suspect assaulted the victim and attempted to take property. The victim resisted and the suspect fled on foot. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury. The suspect was described as Hispanic, 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, 145 pounds with black hair.

ROBBERY, 4000 block of Commons Drive, 10/27/13, 7:32 a.m. Three women were entering an apartment when a man approached them and displayed a handgun. The suspect took cash and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as black and in his 20s.

ROBBERY, 7800 block of Rectory Lane, 10/27/13, 2:07 a.m. A 22-year-old man was walking when five men approached him. The first suspect demanded cash while the second displayed a handgun. The victim relinquished cash and the suspects fled. The first suspect was described as Asian, 18 to 19, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. The second suspect was described as Hispanic, 18 to 19, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with black curly hair. A description of the other three suspects was unavailable.

BURGLARY, 9000 block of Tartan View Drive, 10/25/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 11000 block of Waples Mill Road, 10/25/13, 12:35 p.m. A resident reported a man knocked at the door and claimed to be with Fairfax County Water Authority. The resident escorted the man into her backyard while another unseen suspect entered the residence and took cash. The utility impersonator was described as white, 40s, about 6 feet tall and 210 pounds. DESTRUCTION/BIAS CRIME, 4000 block of Dixie Hill Road, 10/25/13. A resident reported a swastika had been carved onto a panel mounted on a wall on private property.
