Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) Meeting, West Springfield Police District Station, 11/5/13, 7:30 p.m. Vickie Moore, from the Wildlife Section of the Animal Services Division of the Fairfax County Police Department, will be the guest speaker.

ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT

DIRECTED PATROL, 11/1/13. Officers from the Sully Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Four drivers were charged with DWI. Twelve summonses were issued.

CHECKPOINT, Richmond Highway at Belford Drive, 11/2/13. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint searching for drunk drivers. Seven hundred and Seventy-eight vehicles passed through. Five drivers were charged with DWI. Seven summonses were issued and two criminal arrests were made.

DIRECTED PATROL, 11/2/13. Officers from the Sully Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Two drivers were charged with DWI. Eight summonses were issued. Also, two criminal charges were made. Officers from the Mason Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Twelve drivers were charged with DWI.

 

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 4000 block of Airline Parkway, 11/3/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

PEEPING, 6000 block of Hoskins Hollow Circle, 11/3/13, 6:10 p.m. A woman looked out a sliding glass door and saw a man looking into the room. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. The suspect was described as Hispanic and in his 20’s.

Update on Officer Involved Shooting

BURGLARY, 2000 block of Kimbro Street, 11/1/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 9000 block of Volunteer Drive, 11/2/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 3000 block of Donna Lane, 11/1/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

ROBBERY, 6000 block of Culmore Court, 11/2/13, 12:25 p.m. The victim was walking when a man grabbed property from the victim and fled. The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a stocky build.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 8000 block of Stationhouse Court, 11/2/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

SEX OFFENSE, Alamo Street/Cimarron Street, 11/2/13, 10:30 a.m. A woman was walking when a man approached and inappropriately touched her. He fled and she was not injured.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY/ABC VIOLATION, 5800 block of Brookview Drive, 11/2/13, 1:23 a.m. Police responded for a report of multiple individuals inside a vacant home. In the process of clearing the house of trespassers, several individuals were charged. Erica Benitez, 19, was charged with underage possession of alcohol. Lawrence Saunders, 18, was charged with underage possession of alcohol. John Chandler, 18, was charged with underage possession of alcohol. Travon Reed, 19, was charged with underage possession of alcohol. Malik Benton, 19, was charged with obstruction of justice.
