CAR SEAT SAFETY CHECKS, Sully Police District Station, 11/7/13, 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  This free service is on a first come, first serve basis as only the first thirty five vehicles will be inspected so we can ensure every parent receives the proper training.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ASSAULT ON POLICE, 5900 block of Richmond Highway, 11/6/13, 8 a.m. Police responded for a man allegedly drunk in public and injured from a fall. The man was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. While at the hospital, the man allegedly assaulted an officer. Daniel Alexander Perez Reyes, 22, was charged with drunk in public and assault on a law enforcement officer.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

PURSUIT, Arlington Boulevard/Summerfield Road, 11/7/13, 12:35 a.m. A police officer observed a Jeep Grand Cherokee allegedly commit a traffic violation and attempted a traffic stop. The officer pursued the vehicle to Arlington Boulevard near Fairview Park Drive where it was stopped and the driver taken into custody. Jonathan Peel, 22, of Potomac Maryland, was charged with DWI, speed to elude and refusal of breath test.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 1000 block of Esplanade Court, 11/6/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

7000 block of Brookfield Plaza, laptop computer from business

6500 block of Franconia Road, cell phone from school

10500 block of Furnace Road, purse from business

 

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

5700 block of Burke Towne Court, electronic device from vehicle

9800 block of Lakepointe Drive, wallet from vehicle

 

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 2900 block of Chain Bridge Road, 11/6/13, 11:38 a.m. A man was sitting in his parked car when the suspect approached and allegedly attempted to grab the victim’s phone. The victim resisted and the suspect fled on foot. Police located the suspect and took him into custody. Brian Christopher Lee, 29, of Fairfax, was charged with robbery.
