MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 2300 block of Huntington Avenue, 11/14/13, 3:46 a.m. A man entered a convenience store and displayed a knife to an employee. The suspect took cash and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as black, 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a thin build.

BURGLARY, 5000 block of Cameron Run Terrace, 11/13/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 4000 block of Colony Court, 11/13/13, 3:30 p.m. A resident reported two unknown men attempted to enter the home through a door. The men left immediately when they saw someone in the home. Nothing was taken.

BURGLARY, 5000 block of Shadwell Court, 11/13/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

2800 block of Hartland Road, sleep study kit from business

 

MASON DISTRICT STATION

ASSAULT ON POLICE, 6500 block of Columbia Pike, 11/13/13, 9:16 p.m. A police officer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. The driver refused to sign the traffic summons and was taken into custody. During the arrest, the driver assaulted the officer. Christopher Bradley Grazette, 24, of Falls Church, was charged with assault on police, possession of marijuana, unauthorized vehicle equipment, obstructed view within vehicle and no seatbelt.

CRASH, 3800 block of Gallows Road, 11/13/13, 10 p.m. A 57-year-old man was driving a 1999 Toyota Corolla south on Gallows Road. A 64-year-old man was driving a 2003 Acura MDX northbound on Gallows Road near Arnheim Street. For unknown reasons the Toyota drifted into the northbound lanes and struck the Acura head on. The Toyota was then struck from behind by a 2008 Toyota Matrix being driven by a 19-year-old man. The 57-year-old driver and the 64-year-old driver were both transported to a local hospital for serious injuries. Crash Reconstruction detectives responded to investigate. Speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the crash.
