SULLY DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 4000 block of Brookfield Corporate Drive, 11/30/13. An employee reported someone entered the church and took property.

 

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 3800 block of Joshua Place, 12/2/13, 6:38 p.m. A woman was walking when she was approached from behind by a man. The suspect pushed the woman to the ground and took her purse. The victim did not require rescue. The suspect was described as black, 20s, and about 5 feet 11 inches tall.

BURGLARY, 3300 block of Beechcraft Drive, 12/2/13, 7:30 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the residence, took property and had just fled. Responding officers caught the fleeing burglars. Brandon Lawson, 25, of Mount Vernon, and Christopher Sneed, 25, of La Plata, Maryland, were each charged with burglary.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 6800 block of Elm Street, 11/29/13. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

LARCENIES:

1400 block of Chain Bridge Road, beverages from business

2000 block of International Drive, property from business

 

MASON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 5000 block of Caryn Court, 11/28/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

LARCENIES:

7400 block of Englewood Place, license plate from vehicle

6100 block of Leesburg Pike, property from vehicle

5700 block of Seminary Road, property from vehicle

3400 block of Woodburn Road, tires from vehicle

 

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

11900 block of Sentinel Point Court, cash from vehicle

STOLEN VEHICLES:

1600 block of Becontree Lane, 2008 Hyosung Motorcycle

 

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 7800 block of Lewis Chapel Circle, 11/30/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 6800 block of Meteor Place, 11/30/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

7200 block of Kyles Landing, property from residence

8900 block of Robert Lundy Place, property from vehicle

5500 block of Vincent Gate Terrace, property from business

6300 block of Zekan Lane, equipment from garage

 

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 10600 block of Canterberry Road, 11/28/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

LARCENIES:

9500 block of Old Burke Lake Road, property from fire station

 

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 13800 block of Rembrandt Way, 11/28/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

STOLEN VEHICLES:

9500 block of Lagersfield Circle, 2013 Honda Civic

 

ANIMAL CONTROL DIVISION

ANIMAL, 7500 block of Huntsman Boulevard, 11/29/13, 2:54 p.m. An aggressive deer entered two different stores and began knocking into property and bleeding extensively. Two citizens were able to contain the deer until police, fire and animal control personnel could respond. The deer was transported to a safe location and euthanized.
