Police Daily Blotter December 4, 2013

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

15100 block of Enterprise Court, tools from business

 

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 8500 block of Richmond Highway, 12/2/13. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

BURGLARY, 8600 block of Shadwell Drive, 12/2/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

LARCENIES:

2300 block of Huntington Avenue, wine from business

8900 block of Madge Lane, license plates from vehicle

8200 block of Russell Road, beer from business

6900 block of Westhampton Drive, bag from vehicle

 

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 1500 block of Mintwood Drive, 12/3/13, 9:13 p.m. A resident reported someone attempted to enter the residence but fled. A second resident reported someone had entered the garage but fled. Responding officers caught the fleeing burglar. Leslie Allen Rouse, 27, of Virginia Beach was charged with two counts of burglary.

7100 block of Roosevelt Avenue, GPS from vehicle

 

MASON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 3400 block of Glavis Road, 12/3/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

LARCENIES:

5700 block of Columbia Pike, purse from vehicle

5100 block of Leesburg Pike, merchandise from business

 

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 11300 block of Baron Cameron Avenue, 12/3/13, 11:18 a.m. A woman reported that while she was walking in the Baron Cameron Dog Park, a man exposed himself.  The suspect was described as black and in his 40s.

BURGLARY, 11600 block of Holly Briar Lane, 12/3/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

LARCENIES:

11500 block of Embers Court, computers from residence

12100 block of Sunset Hills Road, bag, cell phone and wallet from vehicle

 

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 5700 block of Telegraph Road, 12/3/13, 10:56 p.m. A man entered an automobile service station and displayed a gun to an employee. The suspect took cash and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as white and about 5 feet 7 inches tall. 

LARCENIES:

7600 block of Hogarth Street, cash from residence

6500 block of Lee Valley Drive, jewelry from residence

6900 block of Victoria Drive, money from residence

 

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 4300 block of Wedgewood Drive, 12/2/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

LARCENIES:

9500 block of Braddock Road, snacks from business

 

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 4700 block of Marymead Drive, 12/2/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

LARCENIES:

13000 block of Fair Lakes Shopping Center, purse from business

STOLEN VEHICLES:

9500 block of Lagesfield Circle, 2013 Honda Civic

9200 block of Tower Side Drive, Yamaha R6

 

ANIMAL CONTROL DIVISION

MALTREAT ANIMAL, Buckman Court/Janna Lee Avenue, 11/29/13, 1:30 p.m. Animal Control Officers were called to the parking lot for a cat left in a vehicle. The cat appeared to be unharmed. Animal Welfare Notice form applied to vehicle.
