Police Daily Blotter December 9, 2013

ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT

DIRECTED PATROL, 12/6/13. Officers from the West Springfield Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. No drivers were charged with DWI. Two summonses and seventeen warnings were issued.

DIRECTED PATROL, 12/6/13. Officers from the Operational Support Bureau patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Two drivers were charged with DWI. Thirty summonses and five warnings were issued. Also, one criminal charge was made.

DIRECTED PATROL, 12/7/13. Officers from the West Springfield Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. One driver was charged with DWI. Fourteen warnings were issued.

DIRECTED PATROL, 12/7/13. Officers from the Operational Support Bureau patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. One driver was charged with DWI. Nine summonses and two warnings were issued.

CHECKPOINT, Ox Road at Braddock Road, 12/7/13. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint searching for drunk drivers. Five-hundred-fifteen vehicles passed through. Three drivers were charged with DWI. Three summonses were issued and one criminal arrest was made.

LARCENIES:

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, Seven Woods Drive/Tamarind Street, 12/6/13, 6:55 a.m. The victim was walking when he was approached by two suspects. The suspects assaulted the victim and took property from him. The victim received non-life threatening injuries. The suspects were described as black.

ROBBERY, 7900 block of Richmond Highway, 12/7/13, 7:03 p.m. The victim was walking when she was approached by two men. One suspect displayed a handgun both suspects took cash and property from the victim. The suspects were described as black, 18-20, and about 6 feet tall.

BURGLARY, 7800 block of Stork Road, 12/7/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 8000 block of Kidd Street, 12/8/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

5800 block of North Kings Highway, beverages from business

7600 block of Richmond Highway, cash from business

7300 block of Richmond Highway, fuel from business

6300 block of Richmond Highway, property from business

6000 block of Shaffer Drive, tools from vehicle

 

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, property from business

2000 block of Chain Bridge Road, equipment from business

1900 block of Gallows Road, property from business

2800 block of Graham Road, property from business

6200 block of Old Dominion Drive, beverages from business

8100 block of Strawberry Lane, wallet from business

 

MASON DISTRICT STATION

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 4800 block of Seminole Avenue, 12/5/13, 11:50 p.m. Property owner reported finding multiple teenagers inside his vacant residence. All suspects fled prior to police arrival.

5700 block of Seminary Road, purse from vehicle

5500 block of Seminary Road, property from vehicle

 

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 13300 block of Rowles Place, 12/7/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

LARCENIES:

2200 block of Christy Place, wallet from vehicle

1400 block of North Point Village Center, property from vehicle

 

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

6000 block of Alexander Avenue, license plate from vehicle

5600 block of Bristol Court, property from vehicle

6000 block of Dinwiddie Street, tools from vehicle

5700 block of Kingstowne Boulevard, property from business

6400 block of Springfield Plaza, property from business

 

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 8600 block of Eagle Glen Terrace, 12/6/13. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

LARCENIES:

6500 block of Little Ox Road, purse from business

 

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

9600 block of Scotch Haven Drive, property from vehicle

2700 block of Shawn Leigh Drive, property from vehicle

12000 block of Fairfax Towne Center, food from business

STOLEN VEHICLES:
