COLD WEATHER ALERT: Shelter Offers "Pet Haven" Services

 

ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT

DIRECTED PATROL, 1/6/14. Officers from the McLean Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. No drivers were charged with DWI. Thirteen summonses and six warnings were issued.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 3400 block of Little Hunting Creek Drive, 1/6/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

LARCENIES:

8800 block of Old Colony Way, property from vehicle

 

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 7400 block of Patterson Road, 1/7/14. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

 

MASON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 5500 block of Seminary Road, 1/6/14, 7:15 p.m. The victim was walking when she was approached from behind by two men. One suspect attempted to take the victim’s purse but the victim resisted and both suspects fled on foot. Responding police tracked down one of the suspects, a 15-year-old Falls Church area boy, and took him into custody. The second suspect was described as black, in his teens with a thin build.

6900 block of Kenfig Drive, tools from vehicle

4600 block of Pinecrest Office Park, license plate from vehicle

 

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

Glade Drive/Freetown Drive, tools from vehicle

 

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 6800 block of Metropolitan Center Drive, 1/6/14, 2:10 p.m. A woman was approached by three suspects, when two suspects assaulted her while another displayed a gun. The suspects took cash and property from the victim and fled on foot. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. Two of the suspects were described as black males in their 20s and the third suspect was described as a Hispanic female in her 20s.

 

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION 

LARCENIES:

4300 block of Americana Drive, license plate from vehicle

7800 block of Heritage Drive, cash from location
