Update - Officer Involved in Shooting Cleared by Commonwealth's Attorney

 

ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT

DIRECTED PATROL, 1/25/14. Officers from the Fair Oaks Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. One driver was charged with DWI. Seven summonses and fourteen warnings were issued. Also, four criminal charges were made.

BURGLARY, 6500 block of Rock Crystal Drive, 1/26/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

5700 block of Union Mill Road, merchandise from business

4000 block of Weeping Willow Court, jewelry from residence

 

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 5800 block of North Kings Highway, 1/22/14, 9:51 p.m. A masked man entered a restaurant and displayed a handgun to an employee. The suspect took cash and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as male, 20s, about 6 feet tall with a thin build.

BURGLARY, 8200 block of Russell Road, 1/24/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 7900 block of Landing Lane, 1/24/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, merchandise from businesses

1600 block of International Drive, purse from location

8000 block of Leesburg Pike, cell phone from business
