ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT

DIRECTED PATROL, 2/2/14. Officers from the Operations Support Bureau patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. One driver was charged with DWI. Fourteen summonses were issued.

6000 block of Union Mill Road, cell phones from school

14800 block of Willard Road, electronic devices from business

 

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 5600 block of Mount Vernon Memorial Highway, 2/1/14, 4:25 a.m. A man entered a convenience store and displayed a knife to an employee. The suspect took cash and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as black, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 170 to 200 pounds.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, wallet from business

8100 block of Gatehouse Road, bicycle from residence

1900 block of Storm Drive, license plate from vehicle

8100 block of Tysons Corner, electronic device from business

STOLEN VEHICLES:

7100 block of Parkview Avenue, Volvo

 

MASON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 6100 block of Greenwood Drive, 2/2/14. A resident reported someone entered the apartment and took property. Police were able to develop leads on two suspects and arrested a 16-year-old Falls Church male and a 15-year-old Falls Church male, charging both with burglary and grand larceny.
