Police Daily Blotter February 10, 2014

DIRECTED PATROL, 2/8/14. Officers from the Sully Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Two drivers were charged with DWI/DUID. Twelve summonses and four warnings were issued. Also, four criminal charges were made.
BURGLARY, 14000 block of Turin Lane, 2/9/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.
ASSAULT/BRANDISHING, 14000 block of Saint Germain Drive, 2/8/14, 5:38 p.m. A man was driving through a parking lot when a suspect stepped in front of the vehicle and displayed a gun. The suspect then approached the victim on the driver’s side and pointed the weapon through the driver-side window. The victim was able to wrestle the gun away from the suspect and the suspect began assaulting the victim. The victim was able to exit his vehicle when he was additionally assaulted by three accomplices of the suspect. The three accomplices fled upon police arrival but the victim was able to detain the suspect. The victim received non-life threatening injuries but did not require transport to a local hospital. The gun was an airsoft BB gun. Police charged a 15-year-old Centreville male with assault by mob and brandishing a firearm.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 6600 block of Arlington Boulevard, 2/9/14, 4:10 a.m. A woman was sitting in her car when a man approached her vehicle and exposed himself. The suspect then got into a silver SUV and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as white, 20 to 30’s and with brown hair.

ROBBERY, 3800 block of South Mason Drive, 2/8/14, 4:35 a.m. Two suspects entered a convenience store, implied a weapon and took merchandise from an employee. The suspects then fled in a vehicle. There were no injuries. Responding police officers located the suspect vehicle in the area of Annandale Road and Hummer Road and both suspects were taken into custody. Abdikadir Ahmed Osman, 23, of Annandale and Omar Mahamed Abdulahi, 21, of Annandale were both charged with robbery.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 13000 block of Keach Place, 2/8/14, 10:43 p.m. A resident reported that several individuals had broken into a homeowner association community building and were having a party. Responding officers caught nine suspects and charged all with trespassing with intent to damage.

BURGLARY, 4800 block of Eaton Place, 2/7/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

ROBBERY, 7800 block of Patriot Drive, 2/7/14, 2 a.m. The victim was walking when two suspects exited a vehicle and approached her. One suspect displayed a gun and demanded money while the second suspect searched the victim. Not finding anything, the two suspects got back into their vehicle and fled. There were no injuries. The first suspect was described as Asian, 20s, about 6 feet tall with a thin build and wearing black clothes. The second suspect was described as Asian, 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a heavy build and wearing black clothing. The vehicle was described as a four-door BMW.
