Valentine's Day at the Animal Shelter

 

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 14700 block of Flower Hill Drive, 2/11/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

5600 block of Cavalier Woods Lane, fishing equipment from vehicle

 

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 2400 block of Windbreak Drive, 2/11/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

2900 block of Arlington Drive, merchandise from business

2300 block of Huntington Avenue, merchandise from business

6700 block of Richmond Highway, merchandise from business

 

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 9200 block of Topaz Street, 2/12/14, 1:45 a.m. The victim had just exited her vehicle when she was approached from behind by two suspects. The suspects assaulted the victim and took her purse. The victim did not require rescue. The suspects were described as black males.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

ASSAULT ON POLICE, 6100 block of Leesburg Pike, 2/11/14, 6:27 p.m. Police responding for a domestic call located the suspect assaulting the victim and holding her against her will inside a residence. In the process of being taken into custody, the suspect assaulted two officers. The victim and suspect were known to each other. Nathan Allen Binns, 32, of Alexandria, was charged with assault on police, abduction, burglary with the intent to commit assault and destruction of property.
