Police Daily Blotter April 1, 2014

ANNOUNCEMENTS

West Springfield District Police Station

 

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 6500 block of Creek Run Drive, 3/31/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

LARCENIES:

6500 block of Colchester road, cell phone from residence

13400 block of Melville Lane, property from residence

14100 block of Saint Germain Drive, merchandise from business

 

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, Buckman Court/Janna Lee Avenue, 3/28/14, 9:03 p.m. The victim was walking when she was approached by two suspects. The first suspect displayed a handgun and took the victim’s purse. Both suspects then fled on foot. There were no injuries. The first suspect was described as a Hispanic teenage male, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a thin build. The second suspect was described as male.

ROBBERY, 6700 block of Tower Drive, 3/30/14, 2:35 p.m. The victim was delivering food when he was approached by two suspects. One suspect displayed a handgun and took the food. Both suspects then fled on foot. There were no injuries. The first suspect was described as male, thin build, and about 5 feet 10 inches tall.  The second suspect was described as male, medium build and about 5 feet 8 inches tall.

BURGLARY, 7700 block of Richmond Highway, 3/31/14. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

7100 block of Groveton Gardens Road, tools from vehicle

6300 block of Richmond Highway, merchandise from business

6900 block of Richmond Highway, property from residence

 

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

8900 block of Leesburg Pike, money from business

8100 block of Strawberry Lane, wallet and cell phone from business

 

MASON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

5900 block of Brill Court, property from residence

 

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

12900 block of Highland Crossing Drive, beverages from business

 

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 9000 block of Lorton Station Boulevard, 3/29/14, 4:06 p.m. A man entered a restaurant and displayed a handgun to an employee. The suspect took cash and fled. There were no injuries. Responding police located the suspect in the 9200 block of Lewis Chapel Road. A 15-year-old male was charged with robbery.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

9400 block of Burke Road, tool boxes from construction site

8800 block of Ridge Hollow Court, property from residence

4400 block of Dixie Hill Road, property from residence

13000 block of Fair Lakes Shopping Center, merchandise from business

11200 block of James Swart Circle, wallet from business
