MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

8200 block of Idylwood Road, property from residence

Marshall Street/Arlington Boulevard, signs from business

7500 block of Leesburg Pike, purse from business

MASON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 4800 block of Manitoba Drive, 3/31/14, 9:40 p.m. The victim was walking when two men approached him. One suspect assaulted the victim with a handgun and both suspects took property from the victim.  The victim did not require rescue. The suspects were described as Hispanic males in their 20s.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

2100 block of Freda Drive, money, items and electronic device from vehicles

11200 block of Roger Bacon, medication from business

9600 block of Verdict Drive, money from vehicle

 

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 6600 block of Frontier Drive, 3/30/14, 10:08 a.m. The suspect entered a store, concealed merchandise and then attempted to exit.  An employee attempted to stop him but the suspect stabbed the employee and fled with the merchandise. Responding police were able to capture the suspect. The employee was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Marcel Leigh, 51, of Alexandria, was charged with malicious wounding, grand larceny, and larceny with intent to sell stolen property.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 8000 block of Braddock Road, 3/30/14, 7:30 p.m. A woman entered a gas station and implied she had a weapon to an employee. The suspect took cash and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as white, 30s, with a heavy build.

STOLEN VEHICLES:

7600 block of Woodstream Court, 2000 Dodge Caravan

 

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

13000 block of Fair Lakes Shopping Center, merchandise from business

11700 block of Fair Oaks Shopping Center, merchandise from business
