SULLY DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

5600 block of Pickwick Road, merchandise from business

4900 block of Stonecroft Boulevard, radio from vehicle

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 2500 block of Windbreak Drive, 4/23/14, 11:11 a.m. A neighbor reported a suspicious noise. An investigation revealed that someone attempted to enter a home. Nothing was taken. Officers, the helicopter and K-9 units responded to search for the suspect who was not located.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC, Janna Lee Avenue/Richmond Highway, 4/23/14, 11:35 a.m. Police officers responded to assist the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department with a combative individual. James Marshall, 25, of Dumfries, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public and obstruction of justice.

WEAPONS DISCHARGE, 8300 block of Claremont Woods Drive, 4/23/14, 9:32 p.m. Officers responded for a suspicious noise call in the area. Evidence was found that two bullets stuck a nearby home. The case is under investigation.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, merchandise from business

MASON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, Carol Lane/Holly Hill Drive, 4/23/14, 3:04 p.m. Two teenaged girls were reportedly approached by an unknown teenaged boy who demanded their phones. The girls gave their phones and responded to Falls Church High School to make the report. The girls were not injured. The case is under investigation.

6000 block of Leesburg Pike, merchandise from business

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

900 block of Locust Street, cell phone, backpack and shoes from school

STOLEN VEHICLES:

11480 block of Commerce Park Drive, Chevy Trailblazer

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

5700 block of General Washington Drive, mailing system from business

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

STOLEN VEHICLES:

8000 block of Haute Court, 1994 Toyota Camry

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

None reported

ANIMAL CONTROL DIVISION
