Police Daily Blotter April 28, 2014

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The next meeting of the Citizens' Advisory Committee for the Fair Oaks District Station will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.

Fair Oaks District Police Station

 

ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT

DIRECTED PATROL, 4/25/14. Officers from the Operational Support Bureau patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Four drivers were charged with DWI. Twenty-three summonses were issued.

DIRECTED PATROL, 4/26/14. Officers from the Mount Vernon Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Seven drivers were charged with DWI. Seven summonses were issued.

DIRECTED PATROL, 4/26/14. Officers from the Operational Support Bureau patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Two drivers were charged with DWI. Nineteen summonses and eight warnings were issued.

BURGLARY, 2700 block of Arlington Drive, 4/27/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 11400 block of Washington Plaza, 4/26/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 7300 block of Bonniemill Lane, 4/25/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

ASSAULT ON POLICE/DRUNK IN PUBLIC, 13900 block of Metrotech Drive, 4/26/14, 2:02 a.m. Police were called to a local restaurant for an individual acting drunk and disorderly.  Police located the suspect and took her into custody. While at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, the suspect assaulted an officer several times. Melody M. Bailey, 45, of Chantilly was charged with assault on police and drunk in public.

ANIMAL CONTROL DIVISION

ANIMAL BITE, 4900 Woodland Way, 4/25/14, 3:20 p.m. A man was walking when a dog bit him on the leg. The victim received a minor injury. The dog was described as an unknown breed, all black with short hair and weighing 45 to 65 pounds. The dog was being walked by a woman described as white, 60s, with a medium build.
