Police Daily Blotter May 6, 2014

ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a child safety seat check at the Sully Police District Station on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 5 – 8:30 p.m. This free service is on a first come, first serve basis as only the first thirty five vehicles will be inspected so we can ensure proper training.

LARCENIES:

4400 block of Carrier Court, property from vehicle

 

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 6100 block of Bangor Drive, 5/2/14, 10 p.m. The victim was walking when he was approached by two suspects. One suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspects left on foot. There were no injuries. The first suspect was described as a Hispanic man, 30s, and about 5 feet 8 inches tall with short brown hair. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male.

BURGLARY, 7800 block of Bluebird Lane, 5/5/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

7900 block of Richmond Highway, merchandise from business

7400 block of Vernon Square, license plate from vehicle

STOLEN VEHICLES:

2800 block of Fairhaven Avenue, Toyota Corolla

8500 block of Executive Park, property from vehicle

LARCENIES:

5700 block of Leesburg Pike, laptop computer from business

7300 block of Marc Drive, jewelry from residence

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 9400 block of Arnon Chapel Road, 5/5/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

ANIMAL CONTROL DIVISION

ANIMAL BITE, 13600 block of Legacy Circle, 5/1/14. A woman was walking when a Brittany Spaniel bit the boy on the leg. The victim received a minor injury. The dog was routinely quarantined.
