ANNOUNCEMENTS

The next meeting of the Citizens' Advisory Committee for the Sully District Station will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.  The topic for the evening will be FCPD Gang Unit.

ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT

DIRECTED PATROL, 5/9/14. Officers from the Operational Support Bureau patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Four drivers were charged with DWI. Twenty-nine summonses were issued.

DIRECTED PATROL, 5/9/14. Officers from the Reston Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. No drivers were charged with DWI. Fifteen summonses were issued.

DIRECTED PATROL, 5/10/14. Officers from the Operational Support Bureau patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Two drivers were charged with DWI. Sixteen summonses were issued.

DIRECTED PATROL, 5/10/14. Officers from the West Springfield Police District patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. One driver was charged with DWI. Five summonses were issued.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

PEEPING, 6400 block of Richmond Highway, 5/9/14, 2 a.m. A resident looked out the window and saw a man looking into the room. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. The suspect was described as black, with a bald head and about 5 feet 11 inches tall.

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 9600 block of Blake Lane, 5/11/14, 9:48 p.m. A resident reported an unknown man inside an unoccupied home. The man left when he saw someone else in the home. Nothing was taken. The suspect was described as Hispanic, 35-40, and about 5 feet 6 inches tall.

ANIMAL CONTROL DIVISION

ANIMAL BITE, 7500 block of Reservation Drive, 5/10/14, 9 a.m. A juvenile male was sitting when a poodle mix dog bit the boy on the leg. The victim received a minor injury. The dog was routinely quarantined.
