ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT Saturday night, May 31, 2014, in the Fair Oaks Police District.

The next meeting of the Citizens' Advisory Committee for the Fair Oaks District Station will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Fairfax County Heliport, located at 4604 West Ox Road and the topic for the evening will be “Counter Terrorism.” There will be plenty of food!

The next meeting of the Citizens' Advisory Committee for the West Springfield District Station will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. The presentation for this meeting will be given by Deputy Thomas Black of the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office, Court Security Section.

ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT

BUSINESS COMPLIANCE, 5/29/14. Officers conducted alcohol beverage control compliance checks in the Fair Oaks Police District. Police Cadets attempted to purchase alcohol at 22 businesses. No arrests were made for the illegal sale of alcohol to a person less than twenty-one years of age.

 

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 15400 block of Smithaven Place, 5/29/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

14900 block of Ampstead Court, equipment from vehicle

4100 block of Auto Park Circle, laptop computer from vehicle

14600 block of Lee Highway, wallet from residence

 

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY, 1900 block of Elkin Street, 5/29/14, 3:06 a.m. Two suspects entered a convenience store and one suspect displayed a handgun to an employee. Both suspects took cash and property and then fled. There were no injuries. Both suspects were described as black males, 18-20s.

BURGLARY, 8300 block of Pondside Terrace, 5/29/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

MASON DISTRICT STATION

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 6200 block of Rolling Road, 5/29/14. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

10100 block of Round Top Court, money from vehicle

STOLEN VEHICLES:

4700 block of Commons Drive, Honda Civic
