To celebrate the completion of a major expansion of the facility, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication of the “Thor” Canine Memorial at the Fair Oaks District Station on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10 a.m. The ceremony will occur at the front entrance of the building.
There will be a SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT Saturday night, June 14, in the Sully Police District.

ROBBERY, 7700 block of Richmond Highway, 6/10/14, 9:01 a.m. A woman had just withdrawn money from an automatic teller machine when she was approached by a suspect. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. After taking cash, the suspect fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as a black male, 39-40, about 6 feet tall with a medium build.
