Police Daily Blotter June 17, 2014
This report is published every weekday, except county holidays. The information in each report covers significant criminal incidents generally from the day before; reports published on Monday cover the preceding Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This report is not a comprehensive list of every police event in Fairfax County in the stated time frame. Some incidents may appear a day or two after the occurrence.
If you need to report an emergency, call 9-1-1 (voice and TTY; no
texting). For non-emergencies call 703-691-2131, TTY 711.
Police have launched a new crime mapping tool. It is designed to help users better understand where police are responding, and offers users a general description of the incident. Simply log on to Police Events Mapping Tool, type the address of the location, and all police-related events within a specific radius will populate the screen. Information is, typically, a day behind real-time events.
