The Sully District Police Station is hosting a CarFit
event on Friday, June 27th from 1-3 p.m. at 4900 Stonecroft Boulevard.
CarFit is designed to help older drivers discover how well they fit
their vehicle. Technicians will provide tips to improve your fit and
increase your safety and the safety of surrounding drivers. CarFit is
voluntary and confidential. CarFit technicians will not make any
adjustments to your vehicles but may recommend some adjustments be made
to enhance your driving experience. No appointment required but this
event will be canceled if it rains. Please contact

ANIMAL/RABIES, 6400 block of Tucker Avenue, 6/16/14, 9:25 a.m. (McLean Police District Station) An Animal Control Officer collected a dead fox which subsequently tested positive for rabies. A dog which had been exposed to the fox was routinely quarantined. The dog was current on its rabies vaccination.
