ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a child safety seat check at the Sully Police District Station on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 5 p.m.to 8:30 p.m. This free service is on a first come, first serve basis as only the first thirty five vehicles will be inspected so we can ensure proper training.

There will be a child safety seat check at the McLean Police District Station on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. until noon.  Due to station construction, the check will be held at the Lewinsville Center, located at 1609 Great Falls Street.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

PEEPING, 6100 block of Paulonia Road, 7/15/14, 12:45 a.m. A resident looked out the window and saw a man looking into the room. The suspect fled prior to police arrival.

7900 block of Fort Hunt Road, beer from business

2300 block of Mary Baldwin, property from residence

7400 block of Vernon Square Drive, bicycle from residence

None reported

 

MASON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 2000 block of Barbour Road, 7/15/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

6000 block of Argyle Drive, money from residence

6300 block of Strawbridge Square Drive, tires from vehicle

3700 block of Terrace Drive, cell phone from business

 

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

10900 block of Knights Bridge Court, medication from residence

 

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 7400 block of Cross Gate Lane, 7/15/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

LARCENIES:

5900 block of Barclay Drive, license plate from vehicle

6600 block of Frontier Drive, tools from vehicle

9500 block of Richmond Highway, tools from vehicle

STOLEN VEHICLES:

6800 block of Springfield Boulevard, Chevrolet Captiva

 

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

5000 block of Queens Wood Drive, wallet and money from vehicle
