Police Daily Blotter July 18, 2014

ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a child safety seat check at the McLean Police District Station on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. until noon.  Due to station construction, the check will be held at the Lewinsville Center, located at 1609 Great Falls Street.

ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT

There will be a SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT Friday night, July 18, in the Franconia Police District.

 

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

4300 block of Chantilly Shopping Center, cell phones from business

14600 block of Lufthansa Circle, medication from residence

 

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 8000 Janna Lee Avenue, 7/17/14, 12:55 a.m. A woman had stepped outside her residence when a man exposed himself.  The suspect was described as black and wearing dark clothing.

ROBBERY, 7600 block of Richmond Highway, 7/17/14, 4:43 p.m. The victim was sitting inside a restaurant when two suspects approached him. The suspects assaulted the victim and took cash and property from him. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Responding police officers located the suspects and took them into custody. Khareem Anthony Joyner, 19, of Woodbridge was charged with robbery and assault. A 17-year-old Alexandria area male was charged with robbery and illegal possession of tobacco by a juvenile.

BURGLARY, 6000 block of Ramshorn Place, 7/17/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

2800 block of Juniper Street, license plates from vehicle

3000 block of Nutley Street, merchandise from business

3000 block of Rogers Drive, wallet from vehicle

STOLEN VEHICLES:

8200 block of Amethyst Drive, 2004 Mercedes

 

MASON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

6100 block of Little River Turnpike, shoes from business

 

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

12000 block of Bowman Towne Drive, tools from vehicle

2300 block of Soapstone Drive, cell phone from business

 

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

7100 block of Braddock Road, money from business

6000 block of Hanover Avenue, property from residence

STOLEN VEHICLES:

6600 block of Quicksilver Court, 2011 Sentra

 

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

LARCENIES:

Adare Drive/John Ayres Drive, bicycle from residence

5700 block of Burke Centre Parkway, merchandise from business

6300 block of Gormley Place, package from residence

7500 block of Reservation Drive, wallet from business

 

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

ASSAULT, 12900 block of Point Pleasant Drive, 7/17/14, 7 p.m. A woman reported that while she was jogging on a path, a man on a bicycle assaulted her. He was described as Hispanic, 20-26, and about 5 feet 9 inches tall.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, Fair Ridge Drive/Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, 7/17/14, 12:30 p.m. A woman was walking when a man exposed himself.  The suspect was described as white or Hispanic, 20-39, with an average build.
