Sections are appropriately identified. Within the sections, incidents are organized by station, then by type of offense. They are listed alphabetically by street address.
Addresses shown indicate blocks and not specific locations. Thus an entry showing Chain Bridge Road 4100 would mean the 4100 block of Chain Bridge Road, not the address 4100 Chain Bridge Road. This report is not a comprehensive list of every police event or larceny in Fairfax County in the stated timeframe.

Illegal drug-related charges: 54
DWI-related charges: 50

ALCOHOL ENFORCEMENT
DIRECTED PATROL, 01/26/13. Six officers from the Operation Support Bureau searched the county for drunk drivers. Two drivers were charged with DWI. Forty-one traffic summonses and eight warnings were issued.

SULLY DISTRICT STATION (DISTRICT 1)
BURGLARY, 14000 block of Darkwood Circle, 1/26/13, 8 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to include a television. Forced entry was made through a rear window.
ROBBERY, 6300 block of Multiplex Drive, 1/26/13, 7:10 a.m. Two employees were in the business when a man entered, brandished a hand gun, demanded money, and fled. Neither victim was injured. The man was described as white, about 5’1” wearing all black clothing.
BURGLARY, 6400 block of Store House Court, 1/28/13, 3:55 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to include jewelry. There were no signs of forced entry.
BURGLARY, 14200 block of Centreville Square, 1/29/13, 5 a.m. Officers patrolling the area found a front window on a business shattered. Someone entered and stole several items to include cigarettes.
MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION (DISTRICT 2)
BURGLARY, 2700 block of Jefferson Drive, 1/30/13, 6:30 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. Entry was made through an unlocked rear window.
MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION (DISTRICT 3)
BURGLARY, 2200 block of Pimmit Run Lane, 1/24/13, 9:05 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole a laptop computer. Entry was made through an unsecured rear door.
BURGLARY, 1300 block of Old Chain Bridge Road, 1/25/13, 9:20 a.m. An employee reported someone entered the business but did not steal anything. Forced entry was made through the front door.
BURGLARY, 3000 block of Covington Street, 1/26/13, 7:20 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole cash. Forced entry was made through a rear door.
BURGLARY, 9300 block of Clanbrook Court, 1/27/13, 6:15 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. Forced entry was made through a rear door.
MASON DISTRICT STATION (DISTRICT 4)
ROBBERY, 8200 block of Townsend Street, 1/26/13, 10:40 p.m. A 23-year-old woman was walking home when a man pushed her and stole her purse. She was not injured. He fled with the bag. He was described as black, approximately 25 years old, 6’, and 145 lbs.
ROBBERY, 4800 block of Beauregard Street, 1/27/13, 8:55 p.m. A 15-year-old boy was waiting for a ride when a man took the victim’s phone from his hands. The suspect implied he had a weapon. The victim was not injured.
BURGLARY, 3400 block of Carlin Springs Road, 1/28/13, 11:55 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole a small safe. There were no signs of forced entry.

ASSAULT, 3100 block of Cofer Road, 1/29/13, 2:20 p.m. A 59-year-old victim reported he was allegedly struck by a roommate. Hieu Dang, 42, of Falls Church, was charged with drunk in public and assault.
RESTON DISTRICT STATION (DISTRICT 5)
ASSAULT, 2400 block of Centreville Road, 1/27/13, 11:25 p.m. The victim was being assaulted by an intoxicated person. An employee of the business then allegedly struck and held the victim in order to stop the fight. A warrant for assault has been issued for the employee but has not been served.
PEEPING, 2100 block of Green Watch Way, 1/28/13, 9:20 a.m. A 57-year-old woman reported that a man was seen standing on her patio. He did not attempt to enter and fled.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2100 block of Enright Place, 1/30/13, 9:50 p.m. A 25-year-old resident reported someone entered his home and sat down at the kitchen table. Entry was made through an unlocked front door. The home owner pushed the suspect out of the home.
FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION (DISTRICT 6)
BURGLARY, 6600 block of New Hope Drive, 1/24/13, 6 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to include a laptop computer. Forced entry was made through a window.
ROBBERY, 7100 block of Rock Ridge Lane, 1/25/13, 1:30 p.m. An 18-year-old victim reported two men entered his home demanding property. The two men fled without anything when they realized the police had been called. The case is under investigation.
BURGLARY, 7000 block of Brookfield Plaza, 1/26/13, 5:10 a.m. Officers responded for a shattered front door. A business owner confirmed that cash was stolen.
WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION (DISTRICT 7)
CRASH, Old Keene Mill Road/Rolling Road, 1/24/13, 5:05 p.m. A pedestrian was struck crossing the street. The 15-year-old victim was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. He is in stable condition. An investigation continues.
BURGLARY, 7800 block of Sutter Lane, 1/25/13, 3:35 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. There were no signs of forced entry.
ASSAULT, Bardu Avenue/Bardu Court, 1/30/13, 2:45 a.m. An officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver and passenger allegedly became belligerent toward officers. Nicholas Flynn-Tanner, 22, of Springfield, was charged with assault on a police officer and possession of marijuana. Samuel Gordon, 19, of Springfield, was charged with possession of marijuana.
ASSAULT, Burke Centre Parkway/Roberts Parkway, 1/30/13, 5:50 p.m. Officers attempted to serve an arrest warrant when the suspect allegedly punched an officer and fled. Aaron Chew, 18, of Burke, was located and the warrant was served. He was also charged with assault on a police officer and escape with force.
BURGLARY, 660 block of Green Ash Drive, 1/30/13, 1:40 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. There were no signs of forced entry.
FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION (DISTRICT 8)
GRAFFITI, 3000 block of South Erin Drive, 1/26/13, 2 p.m. A property owner found spray painted graffiti on a walkway.
BURGLARY, 2800 block of Bradley Acres Court, 1/27/13, 4:30 a.m. A resident reported someone entered the home stole her purse. Entry was made through a garage.
BURGLARY, 11700 block of Lee Highway, 1/29/13, 4:35 a.m. Officers responded for an alarm and found a business front window shattered. Someone entered and stole cash.
