Daily Activity Report


This report is published every weekday, except county holidays. The information in each report covers significant criminal incidents from the day before; reports published on Monday cover the preceding Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The time frame is the actual 24-hour period for each day.

The report contains selected crimes, including animal-related incidents and property crimes. The information is organized by district station. If a section has no reported incident, that section will not be shown. Addresses shown indicate blocks and not specific locations.

Note: Information contained in the Daily Activity Report is generally based on initial reports made to the police department. Follow-up investigations may reveal additional information. Also, this report is not a comprehensive list of every police event in Fairfax County in the stated time frame.

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 7100 block of Woodglen Court, 4/30/13, 5:35 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home but nothing was stolen. Forced entry was made through a pet access door.

UNAUTHORIZED USE, 13900 block of Rockland Village Drive, 4/30/13, 1:15 p.m. An officer was getting information reference a possible unauthorized use of a vehicle when the vehicle drove into the parking lot. The driver sped away and the officer chased him. The officer eventually caught up to the suspect. Arman Dueno, 37, of Chantilly, was charged with speed to elude, driving on revoked operator’s license, and resisting arrest. The victim later decided to not prosecute for the original unauthorized use of a vehicle.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 3300 block of Memorial Street, 4/30/13, 3:35 a.m. A resident reported someone entered the home but nothing was stolen. Officers responded and located a suspect sitting in the yard. Christina Tucker, 25, of Woodbridge, was charged with entering a dwelling at night, two counts of vehicle trespass, and drunk in public.

8500 block of Old Mount Vernon Road, cell phone from school

2400 block of Phillips Drive, purse from vehicle

7700 block of Richmond Highway, wallet from business

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 2400 block of Lexington Road, 4/30/13, 5 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. Entry was made through an unlocked rear door.

BURGLARY, 8000 block of Chanute Place, 4/30/13, 10:30 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole cash. There were no signs of forced entry.

ROBBERY, 7800 block of Tysons Corner Center, 4/30/13, 9 p.m. A 21-year-old reported he was robbed two weeks prior. The victim was approached by two men who demanded money. They took his cash and fled.

2600 block of Manhattan Place, camera and lenses from residence

1500 block of Mary Ellen Court, jewelry from residence

MASON DISTRICT STATION

7000 block of Rhoden Court, registration stickers from vehicle

9900 block of Richmond Highway, chess set from vehicle

6900 block of Mary Caroline Circle, 2003 Yamaha R6

7100 block of Rock Ridge Lane, 2011 Honda CBR600 RR motorcycle

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY, 5500 block of Moultrie Road, 4/30/13, 3:30 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. Entry was made through an unlocked window.

BURGLARY, 5300 block of Inverchapel Road, 4/30/13, 9:10 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to include a small box safe. Forced entry was made through a rear window.

8400 block of Peace Lily Court, jewelry from residence

3900 block of Persimmon Drive, laptop from vehicle

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

ASSAULT, 12800 block of Federal Systems Park Drive, 4/30/13, 2 p.m. A 20-year-old reported she was taking out the trash at a business when an unknown man allegedly pushed and struck her. She was not injured. Zubin Ali, 27, of Winchester, was charged with assault and drink in public.

BURGLARY, 3800 block of Maple Hill Road, 4/30/13, 1:05 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. Forced entry was made through a rear door.

12300 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, license plate from vehicle

ANIMAL CONTROL DIVISION

ANIMAL BITE, 10200 block of Friendship Court, 4/30/13, 7:15 p.m. A 23-year-old reported she was bitten by a stray cat. The victim began rabies treatment as a precaution. Animal Control Officers are searching for the grey tabby cat.
