UPDATE – Arrest Made
On Monday, March 17 at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, detectives closed another robbery case. Charles Terrence Hoye, 55, of Bethesda, Maryland was charged with the robbery of a bank in Chantilly on March 6. Hoye was being held in jail on charges of robbing a BB&T Bank on Tuesday, March 11 on Georgetown Pike.

The PNC Bank at 3914 Centreville Road was robbed on Thursday, March 6 just after 2 p.m. A man walked in, approached a 37-year-old female clerk of Centreville and demanded money. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and walked out fleeing the scene. There were no injuries.
The suspect was described as white, in his 40s. He was between 6 feet and 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighed between 250 and 280 pounds. He had brown hair, a moustache and a goatee, which was possibly fake. He was wearing a black, soft-brimmed hat with the brim turned up, black sunglasses, a black leather jacket, black shirt, black pants and black shoes.
