Woman Assaulted by Security Guard

            An armed security guard at the Las Vegas Club, 6151 Richmond Highway, was arrested for reportedly assaulting a patron of the business. The victim, a 36-year-old Arlington woman, was involved in a dispute on Monday, April 28 around 1:25 a.m. when the security guard encountered her. He has arrest powers, therefore placed her in custody and into his car. He was in the process of transporting the victim to a magistrate’s office when he pulled over near Lockheed Boulevard and Fairchild Drive.  The suspect sexually assaulted the victim and then let her out of the car. She walked around lost and called for help from the 7300 block of Fairchild Drive, where police found her. The victim was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital with minor injuries.

            Ramon Goodwin, 24, of no fixed address, was charged with rape and sodomy. He was arrested Thursday, May 1 and taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
