Police Investigate Armed Robbery in Falls Church Area

            A 31-year-old Falls Church-area man was robbed while sitting in his car, talking on his cellular telephone. The incident occurred on Saturday, May 3 shortly after midnight, in the 3600 block of Barcroft View Terrace. Two men approached the victim’s car, one displaying a handgun. They demanded the victim’s money, which he handed over. The victim was not injured and the suspects fled toward Columbia Pike.

            Both suspects were described as being white or possibly Middle Eastern men, 25 to 30 years old. They were both about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighed approximately 140 pounds. Both wore dark clothing and black skull caps.
