Tree Falls on Car, Kills One

            A 57-year-old Delaware man was killed on Wednesday, June 4 when a tree fell and crushed the 1995 Toyota 4Runner he was riding in. The driver, a 62-year-old Annandale man, was driving south on Hummer Road just past Gallows Road around 3:10 p.m. during a thunderstorm with high winds and heavy rain. The impact of the tree killed Huu Dai Pham instantly and he was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
