Crime Solvers Seeks Suspect in Theft of Guns
Fairfax County Crime Solvers is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for unlawfully entering a home and stealing an assortment of antique shotguns and pistols. Police were called to the home, located in the 8500 block of Greenleaf Street in the Woodlawn area, at 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4. An investigation determined the weapons were stolen between Friday, May 30 and June 4, while the homeowner was away. It appears entry was made through an unlocked rear door. The owner valued the guns at approximately $20,000. The guns stolen included:
- Four antique double-barrel shotguns
- Four antique double-barrel pistols
- Six antique flintlock pistols
- Six miscellaneous antique pistols

A $100 to $1,000 cash reward will be paid for information that leads to an arrest. As always, callers never have to give their names or appear in court.
