Jewelry Store Clerk Robbed

            A 49-year-old Manassas-area woman was robbed at gunpoint Saturday, June 28 around 2 p.m. at her place of business.  The robbery occurred at a jewelry store, Tienda Sandrita, 3409 Payne Street.  A man asked to look at some jewelry. The clerk placed the jewelry on the counter. The suspect displayed a handgun, grabbed the jewelry and fled the scene.  There were no injuries. 

            The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 40 years old.  He was approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall and about 220 pounds.  He was wearing a black winter coat and blue jeans.
