Update: Police Identify Victim in Homicide Investigation 

             Police are investigating the death of Genevieve Paulette Orange as a homicide. Orange, 29, of 6166 Leesburg Pike in Falls Church, was found dead in her home around 11:22 a.m. on Thursday, September 25. It appears she died from blunt force trauma to the upper body.

Police Investigate Suspicious Death in the
Falls Church Area

            Police were called to an apartment in the 6100 block of Leesburg Pike at 11:22 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, to check on the welfare of an adult woman. Officers located the body of a female deceased inside the apartment. The death appears suspicious in nature. Homicide investigators and crime scene investigators responded to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
