DWI - Directed Patrol in Mount Vernon District
Fairfax County police officers from around the county will conduct DWI-directed patrols throughout the Mount Vernon District to deter and apprehend intoxicated drivers. This will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2009 from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. Sunday. Motorists stopped for suspicion of driving while intoxicated will be checked to assure that their abilities to drive have not been impaired by alcohol or drugs.
