Abduction in Beacon Hill; Arrest Made

            On Friday, January 16 at 6:45 a.m. a 20-year-old woman was abducted and sexually assaulted. She was at a pay phone at 2800 Beacon Hill Road when a man offered her a ride home. She accepted the offer, but the man did not take her home. He drove a few blocks to the end of Elm Drive where he began touching her inappropriately. She fought him off and was able to escape uninjured.

            On Friday, January 23 detectives arrested James S. Williams, 47, at his home, 2218 Rollins Drive, Alexandria. He was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with abduction and sexual battery.
